With TronLink, users can create a new HD wallet or a related wallet based on a specific HD wallet, or import an existing wallet to TronLink App. Details are as follows:
(Note: The following tutorial applies to v4.5.0 and above.)
1. If you are a newbie
If you are opening TronLink App v4.5.0 or above for the first time, you will see an on-boarding screen as shown below.
1.1 You can switch between Cold and Hot Wallet by tapping the button on the top right corner. Hot Wallet is selected by default, which requires network connection. To switch to Cold Wallet, you will need to disconnect from the network. For more information, please see How to use TronLink cold wallet.
1.2 At the bottom of the screen, you can tap "Import Wallet" or the button below to add your watch-only wallet, pair your Ledger device, or import the built-in keystore of your Samsung phone (available on certain Samsung phone models).
2. If you are an existing user
2.1 If you already have a wallet, you can tap the icon on the top right of Home to enter the "Add Wallet" screen:
2.2 Tap "Import Wallet" on the "Add Wallet" screen to import your mnemonic, private key, or keystore.
You can also tap on other tabs to generate a new wallet (related wallet), create a new HD wallet, pair your Ledger, add a watch-only wallet, or import Samsung Keystore (available on certain Samsung phone models).

3. Import a wallet
3.1 You will enter the "Import Wallet" screen by tapping on "Import Wallet".
You can scan or enter your mnemonic, private key, or keystore on this screen. The information you entered will be identified automatically. After that, tap on "Next Step" and you will see the additional information required for importing a wallet (wallet name, password, etc.). After filling out the information, tap on the button at the bottom to complete the import.
